Drawing Class and Art I

Shading example from http://www.donnayoung.org/

The assignment for Art 1 for those who are absent comes from

http://www.princetonal.com/groups/iad/lessons/high/Marianne-Values.htm

Students are learning about shading. Students in art I are completing the above assignment dealing with shading and shattered values. The drawing class has jumped right into shading the human portrait. They are really taking off this year on understanding the depth that shading can create!

Hello,

I recently compiled a list of the Top 20 art blogs for educators, and I just
wanted to let you know that you made the list! It
is published online at
http://www.onlinedegrees.org/top-20-art-blogs-for-educators/.

Thanks so much, and if you think your audience would find useful
information in the list or on the site, please feel free to share the
link. The blog is just starting up, so we always appreciate a link
back as we're trying to increase readership.

Thanks again, and have a great day!

Hello,
I traveled to your blog via Top 20 art blogs (comment above). As I was perusing I was surprised to find a link to my lesson, however the link is incorrect. It should be: http://www.princetonol.com/groups/iad/lessons/high/Marianne-Values.htm
Hope you are enjoying your time off this summer.
