If you have an opinion...

One of the questions that we teachers have been faced with as of late...

Should students be allowed cell phones in the classroom?

So, students it is your turn...what do you think?

Ithink we should be able to have cell phones because if an emergency arises there has to be a way to contact the right people. Or if a family emergency arives they should be able to contact us. And some teachers are ridiculous about cell phones where a teacher sees a lump in your pocket and take it away or take it away before or after school even though it says in the rules we can have them then. Cell phones should be used after a class with a teachers permission. if the teacher dosnt mind and its not disruptive to that class or another then it should be ok. The cell phones being taken away is way over reated in my opinoion. And also if its an emergency then it also should be alowd to and extent.

I think students should be allowed cell phones in between classes and in case of emergencies. Some times things happen and your parent might not know the school's number on the top of their head or may not be able to think of it when a stressful situation occurs. The students that text durring class make the rest of us look bad. They should have to leave their cell phones on the teacher's desk.
